Hello Crestwood families,

Thank you so much for being patient with us while we figured out all of the logistics for practices for our unconventional 2020 season.

Before you do anything else, please text '@cwswim2020' to 81010 in order to subscribe to our Remind for this season. This will be our chief means of communication for practice cancellations and other important updates that are time-sensitive. This first week forecasts inclement weather, so it is imperative that we are able to communicate via this service with all of you.

Attached to this email you will find the practice group assignments and times for Week One, beginning Monday, June 22nd. These assignments will not change for the first week of practice; however, they are subject to change later in the season. While these decisions might not make the most sense to you, we hope you will trust that there is a method to our madness!

Please have your swimmers bring with them: their own cap and goggles, their own water bottle, their own towel, and their own mask. This is important in case unforeseen weather conditions arise and we must gather underneath the shelters. We also would like to remind you that there will be no changing at the pool, and limited use of the bathrooms. Please have your swimmer arrive and leave in their suit.

As we will be taking attendance at practices, please arrive at least 5-10 minutes prior to the scheduled practice time to sign in. In order to maintain social distance as much as possible at practice, we ask that only one parent or guardian accompany each family at practice if you wish to stay on the grounds while your child is in the pool. Please enter through the front gate as you arrive. At the end of your scheduled practice, we ask that you exit through the back gate to avoid close proximity with other families entering at the same time.

Lastly, in an effort to ensure the safest season possible, we will be testing every swimmer on their first day of practice to confirm that they are able to swim 25 meters unassisted.
