Some of you will be receiving this email twice, but I didn't want anyone to miss out on this information.

If you have already registered and have signed up to volunteer as a meet official that requires GDSA training each year, (i.e. stroke and turn judge, starter, referee, etc.) the official's training will be next week. There are two options for training: 

1) Monday, 5/13, 6 pm at Kettering Fairmont HS (use the north entrance, not the main entrance) 

2) Tuesday, 5/14, 6 pm at Vandalia Butler HS 

New officials are welcome and encouraged, many of our officials have children getting close to graduation age. As a new official, you will need to shadow a veteran official at one meet, before being able to officiate on your own. This is a great way to get your volunteer hours in as these positions are weighted more heavily in points required for volunteering. Pizza is provided at the training, as well. Please RSVP to me by Saturday, 5/11 which training you would like to attend, so that I can get a head count for the league pizza orders.
